Flora-LinkTM

If you are an FTD florist, and have received your Mercury 3000 machine, then this product will provide the interface between the Mercury 3000 and your (Host) system (also referred to as the Mercury Link or the Mercury Interface). The efficiency gains and the savings are two folds.
First, for the incoming orders on the M3000, the Flora-Link will automatically trap all orders, translate them into Flora-Ticket orders, and bring them over to your Micro Florist system. Just remember those busy holidays, when the Mercury system keeps on printing, and printing, and you keep saying, OH my Gosh, who's gonna enter all these orders. Well, with Flora-Link, they are enter with a single menu selection.
Second, for the out-going orders, you no-longer have to re-enter all those orders into the Mercury system for transmission. Just select the filling florist from your Florist Directory, press a key, and Bingo, they are all sent to the Mercury system, transmitted, and verified, in less than just few minutes.
Flora-Link uses a proprietary communication link between the two systems (your Host and the Mercury), utilizing a "special" Null Modem RS-232 cable. The distance between the Host and the Mercury systems is limited to around 10' depending on your shop's environment.
The Flora-Link operates in partition 3 of the Mercury 3000 system. The partition 4 will still be available to run other third part software, or to be used as an additional Flora-Ticket station.

Auto-FaxTM

Imagine, not having to make some of those long, and tedious wireout phone calls to other florists, in the middle of your busy day. Well now, you don't have to !
After you select a florist that has a fax number, from the Florist Directory, the system asks you; "if you want to FAX the order ?". If you respond with a "yes", then the system allows you to make any adjustments necessary to the "amount given to the filling florist", and then bingo, the order is Faxed right in front of your eyes!.
But of course, not all florists have fax numbers, however, the number is growing rapidly. Soon there will be even more, when florists hear about the Auto-Fax, and the fact that they'll receive more orders, if they get a Fax machine.
For now, in most cities, the Florist Directory finds at least one florist with a fax number, which is really all you need.
Since this is a "send only" fax software, you do not need a dedicated phone line, but you do need a Fax/Modem unit.

Remote-LinkTM

For florist business with multiple stores, this product alone can be the reason to purchase the Micro Florist system.
This product is so powerful, that it is almost unbelievable to see how easily it does, what it does, when what it does, can not even be done with systems costing 100 times more, using expensive communication hardware, software and dedicated digital lines. Here is how it works.
At your "main branch" you have a regular phone line, dedicated to your Host's modem. With Remote Link, your Host system always answers calls coming in from your branch shop(s) on that line.
Your branch shop(s) have Flora-Ticket stations with modems connected to (non-dedicated) phone lines. These lines can be the same lines that are used by Flora-Credit for obtaining credit card authorizations.
At the branch shop, after taking 5 or 10 orders, the operator presses Ctrl-E on the keyboard, and the Flora-Ticket station will automatically call the main branch, and transfers a copy of all the orders (since the last transmission) to the Host computer.
While the call is being made, the Host communicates with the branch shop's computer, in the background, without any disruptions on the Host. As the operator on the Host system, you wouldn't even know, if the system is receiving, or has received files, until the system returns to an idle state.
The up-to-date Customer and Inventory (resource) files at the Main store are automatically compressed and can be downloaded into the remote station(s), with a single menu selection from the remote station(s).
In either case, whether orders are being sent out, or resource files are being received, as soon as the file transfer is over, the branch station hangs up, freeing up the line, which is ideal for long distance calls.
If people at your branch store do their own production and send out their own orders, then the system at the branch shop can be setup for "local processing of orders". In this mode the Micro Florist system at the branch store calls the Main Host for order transfer, after it finishes its local processing of orders.
In other words, the system at the branch store, first generates all the paperwork locally, and then it calls the computer at the main shop and transfers a copy of all orders, so that central billing and accounting can be done at the main shop.

Flora-MapTM

The Flora-Map system provides you with a fast and easy way to plan your delivery routes and to pin-point the recipient / customer addresses on the map (of your county).

The Micro Florist system first pulls the delivery information from the Delivery Ticket database easily and quickly, and then it passes the information to the Flora-Map system. Recipient addresses may also be entered directly into the Flora-Map system itself.
The Flora-Map performs automatic geo-coding, and prompts you for any address that needs correction. The system will then place an "X" and the last name of the recipient right on the map.
You can print different views of the map, with all the recipient addresses for each delivery trip. Just imagine how handy this fantastic tool can be on a busy holiday. Using the Flora-Map system, you can also see if a certain address is correct, or if it is within your delivery area, during sale entry.
The main benefit of the Flora-Map system is that your Driver can be so well organized before he leaves the shop, that delivery times can almost be cut in half. You can group deliveries by driver, delivery date, and/or zip codes. Couple of key strokes will locate all addresses for a particular delivery zone, and will print each map. A definite must for a Hi-Tech shop.

Flora-GraphTM

This is a real fun product. From the Main menu of the Micro Florist system, you can press couple of keys, and produce the most dazzling, colorful and informative graphs that you can ever imagine.
There is no need to prepare the data, import it into a spread sheet program, and then graph the data, with Flora-Graph it all happens with a just a few key strokes.
You can choose the graph data to be your sale, expense, income, profit, employee performance, shop loading, or any other major indicator of your business. You can then select the type of graph from more than 60 different two or three dimensional graph types.
After the graph is drawn on the screen, pressing the letter "P", will print the graph in a full size landscape layout. It is that easy. These graphs will look real impressive, on the wall at the Manager's office. The sales, and the employee performance charts can be used to motivate employees, and to add a lot of excitement to the work place environment.

Auto-ReconcileTM

The Auto-Reconcile provides a quick and easy method for reconciling wire service statements, using a floppy disk provided by your wire service.
A floppy disk containing the wire service statement can be requested from your wire service by simply calling their Customer Service Department. Currently FTD, AFS, Redbook, and Carik provide such service. You may also call other wire services, and let them know that you would be interested in obtaining your monthly statements on floppy disks.
Each month, you would simply select the Auto-Reconcile from the Services menu of the Micro Florist system, insert the floppy disk, and bingo, all invalid, duplicate, and over-charged orders are printed on your printer!. It is that simple. You will sleep better at nights, knowing that you have caught each and every incorrect charge on your statement.
The auto-reconciliation of both incoming and out-going wire orders can be done in just a few minutes. The incoming and outgoing wire order activity as shown on the wire service statement, is matched to the actual data in the Micro Florist system. Entries that match are stamped "Cleared". Printed reports then show you exactly which orders are left unmatched, and the system prints discrepancies that need to be resolved.

Wedding DesignerTM (stand-alone)

The Micro Florist Full Feature Set system already includes the "integrated" version of the Wedding Designer. Here, we will talk about the "standalone" version of this product. The stand-alone version is designed, so that it can run on a smaller computer (a laptop, or a notebook size computer), and it is usually used in the wedding consultation section of a florist shop.
Since it is usually not very practical to do the wedding consultations on the main counter (where the Micro Florist system is usually located), this compact version of the Wedding Designer, allows you to run it basically, at any location you want, using a smaller computer.
You can conduct your interactive wedding consultations with brides, using the stand-alone system, and then bring the worksheet(s) back to the main Micro Florist system for final pricing / printing.
If you do any wedding work at your shop, then the stand-alone version can really make your wedding consultations convenient and efficient, while causing no interruptions on your main Micro Florist system.
