The Visual Ticket is truly the State-of-The-Art Point-of-Sale (POS) system, that will allow you to click your way through an order with maximum ease, capturing huge amount of information in record time.
Are you ready for the future ?. The Visual Ticket is the latest addition to the Micro Florist product line, that has been specifically designed for the Multi-Tasking, Multi-Threading environment of Windows-95 and Windows NT.
The Visual Ticket Order Entry is based on a revolutionary "Grid" concept, allowing you to see up to 99 Line items of an order, on a single screen. With each item having its own Production, Enclosure Card, Delivery, and Florist information.
Why the name Visual? Can you imagine having pictures of the Inventory Items, Arrangements, Customers, and Employees just a click away!!!
| What does it mean, when we say that the "Visual Ticket is Non-Modal ??!" Well this may sound a bit too hi-tech at first, but wait until you understand what it really means. | |
| The Non-Modal design of the Visual Ticket allows you to jump anywhere on the order, at any time, by simply clicking on the area you want to access. This means that, while taking an order, you are in charge, and not the program. This is a quantum leap from the existing technology. You can click anywhere on the screen, (including any line item), and seconds later you are there |
A Picture is worth a 1000 words

The grid contains the following columns; The Line Item number, the Type of Sale, Item selection pull-downs, the item quantity / price columns, followed by the Prep / Production, Enclosure Card, Delivery, and Wire buttons. The last two columns are the Line-Item Total and the Line-Item Status button. You either click the mouse or use the keyboard to navigate within the Visual Ticket order pad. The pictures on the buttons change as different pop-up windows are filled out. It is by far, the most efficient, and the most elegant Order Entry system implementation, ever.
| Well almost anything you want to do in Visual Ticket, it is done through a pop-up window. That is how everything is kept on a single screen. For example, the Delivery Ticket, the Production (Work) Ticket, the Payment section, they all have their own pop-up windows. You can have multiple windows, and multiple orders open at the same time. | |
| You will absolutely love working with these pop-up windows, since you can move and place them anywhere on your screen, and the system will remember where you placed them the last time around. This way the pop-ups always open up exactly where you expect them to open up. The higher the resolution of your monitor, the more of these pop-ups you can have open simultaneously. |
| The Visual Ticket Development team has paid very close attention to every click, and every keystroke. As a result we have been able to fully optimize the Order Entry interface to require the absolute minimum number of keystrokes necessary to finish an order. The Visual Ticket can be setup for variety of different drop-down, or pop-up lists, and default values. But even more significant is that, it actually learns as you use it, so that repeated values, are always preset, or pre-selected. | |
| The Sales Prompter - Allows you to provide your Sales staff with a fully choreographed verbiage, when talking to customers / taking orders. Sales Prompters are available for every step of order entry and they can be dynamically changed, from the Manager's Station, to reflect the latest specials, and item/delivery availability. The Sales Prompter is also a valuable Training tool, for cashiers who are on training. | |
| Full Multi-Media Implementation. You can record and play back both Audio as well as Video files in many areas of the Visual Ticket system, including but not limited to Production, Enclosure Cards, Customers, Inventory, Mail, etc. |
| Visual Ticket system supports both the "Standard" Micro Florist tickets (the DOS format), as well as the brand new "Visual" Ticket format. | |
| The Visual Ticket templates are fully User Configurable, meaning you can custom design printed tickets to fit your specific requirements. You can also select any type of font (that is available on your system), for any portion of the ticket. For example, the Enclosure Card message, can look just like it was hand-written. | |
| Some of the Visual Tickets (e.g. the Work Ticket) also have the actual picture of the item sold. You can also include a picture on the enclosure card. | |
| The Care Tag for the item, which is setup individually for each item, may also be included on the Enclosure Card. You can print any ticket, from any station, both Visual and DOS formats, by simply clicking on each ticket's Print Request. |
| The Visual Ticket provides a centralized location for tracking and accessing specific operation at your shop. Delivery Tracking, Production Tracking, Problem Tracking, and the Assignment of Wire-outs are all conducted from a single menu. | |
| Your Designers simply point-and-click their way through the start, and the finish of making arrangements. | |
| Your Drivers click on items being loaded on their trucks, or upon their return, click on items that have been delivered. The Drivers can also point-and-click their way across the map of your city, and then print their entire route on a single piece of paper, using the Flora-Map accessory. | |
| You can assign wire-out orders to filling florists, which are listed by Recipient's zip code, by simply clicking on the OK button. | |
| You can track Problem orders, assign priority, the person in charge, and the resolution to the problem, by simply clicking on a few buttons. | |
| All the above information is available in real time to every VT station, allowing your staff to provide up-to-the-minute status to any customer who may call and inquire about his/her order. It truly is that simple to get things done around your shop. |
VT Agents are hard-working software modules that operate on separate threads (independent windows in the background). Agents make your life easier, by getting things done continuously in the background, so that you won't have to wait for such things as Credit Card Processing, Mercury Interface, Florist Assignments, Printing / Processing tickets, etc., etc.
You can allocate different Agents to run on different stations, operating on the common (shared) data, or individual (local) Order Pads.
| Incremental Search - This is another hi-tech word for something you will come to appreciate a great deal.. Incremental Search simply means, that the system will locate records (customers, items, tickets, etc.) as you type each character. | |
| By the way, when searching for items, customers, or orders, the Visual Ticket system lets you select at least 3 or 4 different fields to search by. The Search Engine is available for looking up Customers, Inventory Items, Orders, Etc. | |
| Visual Super Search - is the means of locating past orders. This incredibly powerful tool pops up by a single click on the toolbar. It allows you to search for orders using Customer, Recipient, Florist, items sold, etc. | |
| Caller-Id - Lets the Cashier know who is calling, and then it pulls up the customer account, even before the call is picked up. |
| The number of available (virtual) stations are assigned by MicroCode based on your Purchase Order. You can assign unlimited number of Sessions to each station number. Sessions are setup based on individual Cashiers using each station. Each Session can be fully customized to the Access level, and the expertise of the Cashier. Each session can be setup with specific set of default parameters to fit the needs of different departments. | |
| The System Monitor provides an overview of activities (Log-on/Log-off, Revenue, and Account Balances) for all stations. You can click on the Prompter Button to update the Sales Prompter, or click on the Message button to send/receive Messages (E-Mail) to/from individual Sessions. | |
| The Balance Button on the System Monitor Grid provides access to the Starting and Ending balances for each session (cash, credit card, billed, and check balances), for Closing (or Balancing) the Register for each session. |
Local or Shares data access with Export facility to other Data locations.
